#R1# Kranang feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bostins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kranang swings for the body but Bostin moves out of range.
Bostin is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Kranang scores with a nice head shot. Kranang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bostin moves away from the strike by Kranang. And Bostin tries to counter it with a takedown but Kranang pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kranang throws an overhand right that lands on Bostin's shoulder, as Bostin tries to avoid the shot. Kranang throws a solid leg kick but Bostin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kranang. Kranang loads up on a big right hand but Bostin slips the punch. Bostin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kranang looks to score with a jab to the body but Bostin is just out of range. Bostin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kranang. Bostin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Bostin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Kranang thows a leg kick but Bostin checks it #TD2# and Bostin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#SUB2# Kranang is defending against the submission attempts here by Bostin.

Kovalev tries to clinch but Bostin moves away #TD# and Bostin counters with a shoot takedown. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kovalev working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#SUB# Kovalev wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bostin's closed guard. He's half up but Bostin has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bostin pivots and extends the arm, Kovalev falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bostin! Well done that man!

#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#CL# Shepard rushes Bostin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.#TD2# Bostin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shepard clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!#SUB2# Bostin working for the choke. Shepard is in bad spot here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shepard turns into Bostin and is now in his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Elwood Shepard will probably get the nod. That's time!
