#R1##TD# Kennedy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hooper looking for a sweep. Not yet Hooper, not yet. Kennedy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hooper's head. Kennedy throws a big elbow that misses. #SUB2# Hooper escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kennedy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hooper is striking from the bottom but Kennedy uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kennedy drops an elbow to the side of Hooper's head. Hooper is trying to stand up here but Kennedy is controlling him well. #T1# Kennedy tries to stand and escape but Hooper is controlling the position. #SUB# Hooper is defending against the submission attempts here by Kennedy.
Hooper has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kennedy is working away from the top position though. Hooper trying to get back to full guard but Kennedy takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Hooper tries to hold on but Kennedy postures up.#T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kennedy lands a heavy elbow. Kennedy fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

#R1# Kennedy checks a low kick from Last. Kennedy throws a big counter combination but Last scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Last throws a right and a left that Kennedy avoids nicely. Last takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Kennedy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Last.
#TD# Kennedy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Last has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kennedy is working away from the top position though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Last prevents Kennedy from getting back to his feet. Last trying to control the position from guard on top but Kennedy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Last throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #T3##SUB# Kennedy is looking for a triangle but Last pushes his legs off easily.
#SUB# Kennedy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kennedy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kennedy preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Last trying to control but Kennedy is working from the bottom. Kennedy wants to hit a switch here but Last passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Kennedy there! Last tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T4# Kennedy in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Last trying to control but Kennedy is having none of it. The referee warns Kennedy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Last takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. A nice elbow there by Last.#ROC2# Kennedy is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Last throws a leg kick that misses. #CL2# Last fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kennedy, pushing him back against the cage.#TD2# Last ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Last no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Last striking from his own guard. #SUB2# Kennedy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Last to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kennedy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Last pulls down on the head and he's put Kennedy to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). First Last! In his post fight interview, First Last started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Ground and pound from Kennedy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Ditch has hold of Kennedy's hands but Kennedy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.#SU# Kennedy decides to stand and escape the position. Ditch shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kennedy counters with a one-two to the body. Kennedy sizes up Ditch with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. We've been informed that Ditch has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Kennedy lands a nice forearm strike. Kennedy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Kennedy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kennedy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Kennedy cracks Ditch with an elbow. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bruno Kennedy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kennedy lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.

Tang breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
