Zimmerman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bonphaivong, pushing him back against the ropes.
Bonphaivong can't break the clinch.
Bonphaivong looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zimmerman is trying to push Bonphaivong away but Bonphaivong has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Bonphaivong looking to throw knees to the head but Zimmerman is blocking nicely.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Zimmerman gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

We've been told by Gorbachenko's head coaches at NYC Striking Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Gorbachenko throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gorbachenko waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bonphaivong.
Bonphaivong tries a quick counter leg kick but Gorbachenko is wise to it.
Bonphaivong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gorbachenko was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Bonphaivong drops his hands momentarily and Gorbachenko takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Despite the aggression on Bonphaivong's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Bonphaivong gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Kardashian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bonphaivong was well out of range. Poor timing from Kardashian.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kardashian cracks Bonphaivong on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bonphaivong falls backwards against the cage. Kardashian follows up with more strikes that drop Bonphaivong to his knees. Kardashian keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bonphaivong! This one is all over!

Galneryus is working to tighten his grip on Bonphaivong's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bonphaivong has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Galneryus is really squeezing tight and eventually Bonphaivong passes out! Galneryus breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Kurenai Galneryus spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
