#R1# Michaels avoids a low kick by using good footwork. A head kick by Bay misses and Michaels makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Bay shoots in but doesn't get the takedown letting Michaels counter with a right hand. Bay tries to clinch there but Michaels circles away.
Michaels fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Bay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Michaels swats him away and circles back towards the center. Michaels throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Michaels scores with a body shot.

Bay shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Michaels as he jumps to the side. Bay shoots in looking for a takedown. Michaels tries to sprawl out of it but Bay keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Michaels manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Alex Michaels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kay Bay. Bay goes for a double leg but Michaels avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Michaels continues to drive forward.#T1# Michaels darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Michaels fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheers as Michaels lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bay doesn't seem phased though. Bay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Bay with a lazy takedown attempt and Michaels counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CL2# Bay rushes Michaels and presses him up against the cage. Michaels has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bay tries to work over Michaels's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. #BC2# Bay pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Michaels misses with a straight right. Michaels defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bay. Alex Michaels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Bay closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This has been an exciting period of action! Michaels is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Michaels tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. #T2# Bay tries to control but Michaels wriggling away. Bay controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bay trying to control but he's not successful this time. It looks like Bay might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#T3# Michaels is trying desperately to improve position. Bay avoids the attempt from Michaels to control. Bay tries to control but Michaels wriggling away. #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bay looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Alex Michaels dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2# The fighters circle momentarily. Michaels darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Michaels works the jab nicely. Michaels throws the left hand but Bay avoids the punch easily.#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Michaels is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bay prevents Michaels from breaking the clinch. Michaels dodges an elbow strike from Bay.

Bay looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bay wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michaels would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bay is on top in guard.

Bay dives in for a single leg takedown but Michaels sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. It looked like Michaels wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. No luck for Bay with that takedown attempt. Jab by Michaels. Bay misses with a hook. Bay shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Bay shoots in looking for a takedown but Michaels manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bay's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A nice combination there by Michaels.

And that's the end of the fight! Alex Michaels showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Michaels, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
