We've been told by Johnson's head coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Johnson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Killington gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Killington looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnson is fending him off so far but Killington persists. Nope, Johnson circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Johnson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Johnson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Killington fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Killington tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Killington somewhat. Terry Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buzz Killington. Johnson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Killington. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Johnson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Johnson wants it to stay on the feet. Killington with a poor takedown and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Killington looks winded!#T1# Johnson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Johnson duly obliges. #ROC# Killington is rocked! Killington drops his hands momentarily and Johnson needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Killington just on the top of the head. Killington drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Killington - he's done!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killington wants to stand but Carson is controlling his posture from full guard. Killington advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Carson wants to get back to his feet.
