England stopping the sweep attempt from Magnusson. England wants to get up but he can't break Magnusson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. England has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Magnusson is controlling England's posture. Magnusson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. England wants to stand but Magnusson has a closed guard, so he can't escape. England misses with some strikes from the bottom.
England could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Richardson is taking a breather. England says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Richardson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richardson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. England misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
