#KD# Carvarlo closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Thrower crashing to the mat! Thrower uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!#CUT# It looks like Dirty Thrower has been cut.#CL2# Thrower moves into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!#BC2# Thrower breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carvarlo throws a right and a left that both miss. Thrower avoids the body shot from Carvarlo.
Carvarlo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Thrower counters with a two punch combo. Thrower circles away from the clinch attempt.
Carvarlo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thrower moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Augusto Carvarlo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. #R1# Stalin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Thrower misses with a double jab.
Stalin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thrower sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Stalin. Stalin moves in looking to clinch but Thrower pushes him off. Thrower has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stalin is landing a low percentage of strikes. Stalin shoots and misses and Thrower counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #CUT2# It looks like Joe Stalin has been cut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Stalin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stalin looks for a takedown but Thrower sprawls well. Thrower cracks Stalin with a hook to the temple - Stalin is on wobbly legs here! Thrower swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Stalin falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Thrower wins by TKO!

Thrower is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Thrower tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Poirier paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thrower throws a lazy head kick and Poirier counters with a stiff right hand. Thrower lands a jab to the head.
Poirier sizes up Thrower with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd cheers as Poirier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thrower doesn't seem phased though.#ROC# Thrower is rocked! Poirier is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Poirier shuts the power down on Thrower. Lights out, game over! Poirier is your winner.

Anton Poirier decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Jones drops down looking for a counter takedown but Thrower sprawls and moves away. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Thrower, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Thrower against the cage but Thrower circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. As Jones backs off Thrower throws a huge counter combo but Jones manages to avoid it all. Thrower misses with a combination
#TD# and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jones prevents Thrower from standing back up.
Jones is thwarting Thrower's attempts to control the position.#SUB# Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Thrower doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones. Jones prevents Thrower from improving his position.#T1# Thrower is trying to escape back to his feet but Jones uses the scramble to pass into side control.
#SUB# Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Thrower told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. #R1# No luck with that takedown attempt from Morya. Morya has his takedown stuffed#CL2# and Thrower moves into the clinch. Morya definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Thrower lands a knee to the head.
#BC2# Thrower breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Morya fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alberto Morya. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morya dives in and grabs Thrower's left leg, looking for a takedown. Thrower pushes down on Morya's head and hops out. Thrower steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Morya. Morya has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Thrower. Morya shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Thrower cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thrower scores with a kick to the midsection. Thrower has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Morya is landing a low percentage of strikes. Thrower lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.#TD# Morya feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Morya throws a strike but Thrower rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB##T1# Thrower stands up over Morya, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Thrower trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Thrower lands a couple of elbows.#SUB# Morya is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Morya lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# Thrower looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. #ES2# Thrower has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Morya has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.#TD# Morya jumps into guard, dragging Thrower to the mat.

Kuodis tries a knee to the head but Thrower blocks it.

Thrower gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Thrower connects with a leg kick. Kuodis looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kuodis misses with a head kick.
Thrower lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kuodis pushes Thrower away with a front kick. Thrower throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Kuodis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Thrower will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kuodis throws a head kick that misses. Kuodis is breathing heavily. A nice inside leg kick there by Kuodis. That's going to slow Thrower down. Kuodis looks to land a combination. Thrower sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Diaz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Thrower sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Diaz defending well though. Diaz wants to get back to his feet. Diaz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Thrower. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thrower trying to control the pace. Thrower is trying to control. Diaz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. #T1# Thrower is controlling the pace.

Burton misses with a straight right. Decent striking displayed by Thrower there. Horrible takedown attempt by Thrower or perhaps it was just good defense by Burton, which made it look bad. Thrower throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Burton counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Burton throws a lazy right hand but Thrower sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Thrower changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Burton bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thrower's head backwards.#ROC2# Thrower is rocked! Burton drops Thrower with a huge uppercut! Thrower drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Burton is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
