#R1##TD2# Fernandes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Butler tries to get to full guard but Fernandes has control of the leg. Fernandes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Butler. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Butler is working hard here to advance position. Fernandes is thwarting Butler's attempts to control the position. Butler is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Jitz MMA, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Butler slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butler tries to land a sweep but no joy. Butler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fernandes's guard. #REVR# Butler lands a couple of elbows. Fernandes not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fernandes is fighting to maintain full guard but Butler has managed to sneak the leg through. Butler looks to score some points with some ground and pound. #R1##TD2# Vieira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fernandes's guard. Vieira is in close to Fernandes's body, working some short punches and elbows.#CUT2# It looks like MIke Fernandes has been cut. Vieira is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Vieira throwing strikes but missing. Vieira is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Fernandes is trying to control the position but Vieira postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vieira postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Vieira is working Fernandes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vieira's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Fernandes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #T1# Vieira slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Vieira lands a couple of digs.#CUT2# MIke Fernandes's cut is getting worse. #TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Fernandes enables Boy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fernandes manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Boy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boy wants to stand but Fernandes is controlling his posture from full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fernandes pulls Boy in close to prevent any damage. #T1# Boy working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fernandes wants to stand but Boy is controlling the position. Boy wants to control from the top but Fernandes keeps moving. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fernandes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fernandes swings for the body but Boy moves out of range.
#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A punch combination from Boy misses. Fernandes shoots in looking for a takedown but Boy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fernandes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD# Boy gets the takedown into side control. Boy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fernandes will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.#SU# Boy decides to stand back up. Ravek is looking to take a break and control but Fernandes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ravek taking a breather here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Ravek's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fernandes is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnston is looking to control Fernandes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Johnston avoid being mounted? Fernandes sitting and controlling from the half guard. Fernandes tries to pass to full mount but Johnston defends it. He catches Johnston napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Johnston struggling a bit here. Fernandes works to advance to full mount. Johnston defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Fernandes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnston is desperately trying to improve his position but Fernandes has a good base and remains in mount.
And that's the end of the fight! MIke Fernandes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fernandes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
