With the fighters clinched against the cage, Khan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Khan closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Peterman! Khan dives in looking to finish! Peterman is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Little gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Little wants to improve his position but instead Peterman has moved into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Peterman prevents Little from improving his position.
Little is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peterman perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2#
Peterman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Little is just riding it out for now. Peterman eventually gives up the hold.

Zelaya feints and as Peterman raises his hands in defense, Zelaya changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Peterman has control of Zelaya's left arm, preventing Zelaya from doing any damage. #SUB#
Zelaya content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Peterman has locked up a guillotine! Peterman's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Zelaya is holding on here and Peterman must be using up a lot of energy. Zelaya has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Peterman gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

David Peterman opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
