Tracz is trying to drag McKenzie to the mat but McKenzie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. McKenzie trying to land knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tracz wants to take the fight to the mat but McKenzie manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Janusz Tracz. That's going to take a lot out of him. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tracz. Tracz has been working on his balance at Play House, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by McKenzie.#T1# McKenzie misses with an elbow over the top. Tracz tries to close the distance and clinch but McKenzie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tracz backing away here, and McKenzie unleashes a leg kick that just misses. McKenzie throws a leg kick #TD# and Tracz counters with a nice double leg into side control. McKenzie won't be happy with that. Tracz just content to control the position. McKenzie can't do much from the bottom here. McKenzie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. McKenzie pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tracz is out of range and McKenzie settles back down. McKenzie throws a leg kick that is checked#TD# and Tracz counters with a shoot takedown. McKenzie fights it but they end up in guard. McKenzie wants to stand up but Tracz is controlling him.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but McKenzie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Silva looks for a takedown but McKenzie sprawls well. Malcolm McKenzie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Silva.#TD2# Silva feints and as McKenzie raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.#SUB# McKenzie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. #SUB# McKenzie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silva defends it easily. Silva is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# McKenzie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silva defends well.#SUB# McKenzie is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.

We've been hearing good reports from McKenzie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Silva distracts McKenzie with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Silva scores with a decent looking elbow strike. A close second round but Malcolm McKenzie will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! #R3##TD2# McKenzie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Holden's half guard. Holden has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McKenzie is working away from the top position though. McKenzie works his way into full mount! McKenzie controlling from the full mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The adventures of McKenzie the control monster continue. Boring.#T1# Holden tries to control McKenzie's body but McKenzie pushes him off. Holden squirms to his side and now McKenzie has his back! McKenzie just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. More stalling from McKenzie. Holden tries to roll but McKenzie sticks to his back.
#T3# Good control from McKenzie. McKenzie with more of the same as he continues to hold on. James Holden has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKenzie controlling well, preventing Holden from escaping the position.
#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Holden trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. McKenzie biding his time, looking for the opening.

Somwan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McKenzie is looking to counter the offense by Somwan and move into the clinch. McKenzie attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Somwan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed McKenzie momentarily.
McKenzie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
McKenzie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Somwan scores with a nice head shot. Somwan lands a nice shot to the body.
Somwan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.#ROC2# McKenzie is rocked! McKenzie bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Somwan comes at him with an uppercut from hell! McKenzie falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! McKenzie was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chinawoot Somwan! After the fight, Chinawoot Somwan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
