McPaddam takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#TD2# McPaddam shoots in and bounces West off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. West is wriggling around but McPaddam manages to pass to half guard.
#REVR# West knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McPaddam on the ground. West is staying active underneath McPaddam, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Still in half guard, McPaddam seems content to control. West is trying to stand up here but McPaddam is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. West on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. West is in trouble now - McPaddam has advanced to mount! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McPaddam raining down hammerfists from mount.#T1# McPaddam tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. McPaddam lands a heavy elbow. McPaddam controlling from the full mount. McPaddam trying to control but he's not successful this time. #SUB2# McPaddam is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, West has managed to escape the submission attempt.
McPaddam controlling the position easily from mount. #T2# McPaddam working West over with strikes here. West is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! McPaddam has taken his back! West wants to get back to his feet. McPaddam has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for West. McPaddam trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure West doesn't escape. #T3# McPaddam cracks West with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing West from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
#SUB2# West is trying to stand. He's onto all fours with McPaddam on his back. McPaddam looks like he's slipping off but he's actually tansitioning to a beautiful armbar! West has to tap out to a very impressive submission!
