Marino moves away from the strike by Worthington. Worthington scores with a punch to the head.#CUT# It looks like Joe Marino has been cut. Worthington keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Marino. Worthington swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Marino looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Worthington misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Marino.
Worthington throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marino stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Worthington slips a straight right by Marino. Worthington takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Worthington misses with an uppercut. Marino saw that one coming. Joe Marino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marino throws an off balance right hand
and Worthington counters with a stiff right hand. Worthington scores with a hook. Marino lands a really nice looking cross but Worthington seems unphased.
#CUT2# It looks like Reese Worthington has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Marino throws a series of punches but Worthington moves out of range. Worthington appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.#T1# Worthington with a hook. Marino throws an overhand right that lands on Worthington's shoulder, as Worthington tries to avoid the shot. Worthington throws a hook to the side of Marino's head but Marino sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Marino throws a looping overhand right but Worthington ducks down to avoid it. Marino looks to land a right hand but Worthington moved out of range. A shot to the body from Worthington misses and Marino counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Marino throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Worthington to counter with a crisp jab. Worthington takes a body punch but keeps moving. Marino is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Worthington. Marino looks to land a left hand but Worthington moved out of range nicely. Marino connects with a body shot. Worthington is breathing heavily. Worthington uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Marino. Worthington displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marino throws out the jab. Marino pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Marino is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.#T2# Marino slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Worthington doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Worthington throws a sloppy body shot
and Worthington takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Marino scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.#CUT2# Reese Worthington's cut is getting worse. Marino misses with a left hand and Worthington cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Worthington moves away from the strike by Marino. Marino jabbing away but nothing is landing. Marino bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Marino looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Worthington misses with a looping right.#KD2# Worthington ducks into a a hook from Marino and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!#ROC2# Worthington is rocked! The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. BAM! Marino delivers a spinning backfist that drops Worthington like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Joe Marino! After the fight, Joe Marino was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

#R1# Marino scores with a decent looking hook.#CUT2# It looks like Kakashi Hatake has been cut. Hatake doesn't manage to clinch there - Marino circles away.
Nice defenses there by Hatake. As Marino looks to move away, Hatake throws a big counter combo but Marino just gets out of the way. Marino has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Hatake really is a fat lump. Hatake shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Marino defends it nicely. Marino misses with a body punch
#CL# and Hatake counters by moving into the clinch. #BC# Hatake breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marino checks the leg kick. Hatake will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Marino throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hatake sees it coming and avoids it easily. A combination from Hatake does no damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatake pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Marino throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hatake slips a straight right by Marino. Marino tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hatake was well out of range. Poor timing from Marino. A swing and a miss from Marino.#T1# A telegraphed right hand from Marino misses the target. Hatake half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Hatake bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hatake throws a lazy uppercut
#KD2# and Marino counters with a nice right hand that sends Hatake toppling to the canvas! Hatake scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Marino finish him?!#ROC2# Hatake is rocked! Marino ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Hatake out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joe Marino! A very excited looking Joe Marino rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

#CUT2# It looks like Kent Fuentes has been cut. Crack! Marino connects with the perfect overhand right and Fuentes falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Marino!

Joe Marino made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'What did I say, I told you I would clean his clock! Stand and bang with me and I will rock your dome! Its a matter of principal!
