#R1# Tucker tries to clinch up and Livinho connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Tucker's coach down at Spar Bros was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tucker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Livinho throws out a loose jab but Tucker uses good head movement to avoid it. Livinho throws a body shot but no joy. Tucker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Livinho. Tucker tries a head kick but it misses.
Livinho looks to throw the jab but Tucker is out of range. #CL# Livinho rushes Tucker and presses him up against the cage.#BC2# Tucker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tucker's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Tucker duly obliges. #KD2# Tucker drops Livinho with a beautiful combination! Livinho stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tucker is looking for the KO!#ROC2# Livinho is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Livinho leaves his chin hanging out and Tucker seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Livinho crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ed Tucker! Ed Tucker very nearly forgot to thank Sportivité amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

#R1##TD2# Franks drives through with a takedown into guard. Franks pushing down on Tucker's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. #SUB2# Franks seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Tucker has recovered full guard. Franks controlling from the top position. Tucker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Franks with a flurry of punches that miss. #T1# Franks throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Franks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Franks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tucker swivels though and keeps the full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Franks accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Franks scoring with some ground and pound. Franks throws a big elbow that misses. Tucker keeping moving, preventing Franks from controlling successfully. Tucker controlling Franks's posture. Franks passes Tucker's left leg - he's now in half guard. #T2# Franks is keen to just control but Tucker is a slippery customer. Franks wants to free his trapped foot but Tucker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Tucker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Franks on the ground. Franks is taking a breather. Tucker says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Tucker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tucker. Tucker throws a low kick but Franks moves out of range easily. A big right from Franks misses. Franks with a lazy takedown attempt and Tucker counters with a straight right hand. Franks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tucker.
Tucker is breathing heavily.#T3# Franks shoots in for a takedown but Tucker shows good takedown defense. Franks looks to score with a jab to the body but Tucker is just out of range. Tucker misses with an uppercut. Franks saw that one coming. Franks doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.#TD2# Franks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tucker napping and manages to drive through into side control! Franks has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tucker! Franks punching from mount but Tucker doing a good job of avoiding damage. Franks throwing strikes here but Tucker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

#SUB2# Franks jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tucker manages to avoid the submission attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #T4# Tucker is looking for a sweep.#SUB2# Franks is trying to get an arm triangle but Tucker is defending well. Franks works to advance to full mount. Tucker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Franks controlling from mount. #SUB2# Franks has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Tucker is forced to tap!

#R1# Tucker looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Carsly is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tucker. Tucker throws a nice looking combination but Carsly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carsly throws a jab when Tucker was well out of range.#TD2# Carsly drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Tucker will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Tucker working a defensive guard here.

Carsly keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tucker's head. Carsly throws a big right hand that misses. Carsly content to stall in guard here. Carsly postures up in Tucker's guard and throws a big left but Tucker blocks it. Carsly landing some decent shots from guard. Carsly with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carsly controls from within his opponent's guard. #T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Carsly throws a big right hand that misses. Carsly working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carsly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tucker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Carsly content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tucker can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carsly controls the pace. Carsly with a flurry of punches that miss. Tucker throws a series of punches but Carsly moves out of range. Tucker is breathing heavily.#TD2# Carsly manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tucker on his heels. He'll look to pass Tucker's guard now, I'm sure. Tucker being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Carsly postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Tucker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Carsly postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Carsly makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Carsly wants to control from the top but Tucker keeps moving. Ben Carsly dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2##TD2# Tucker tries to sprawl but Carsly drives through with a takedown into half guard. Carsly looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Carsly sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Tucker defending well though. Tucker on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Carsly winds up and cracks Tucker with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Carsly is nestled in close to Tucker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ben Carsly has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
