Klos lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Klos lands with a left to the head. Klos stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.#BC# Klos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Klos bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ramos's head.#CL# Klos drives through and clinches with Ramos against the cage.
#BC# Klos manages to break the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ramos closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Klos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ramos has time to react. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ramos fails with a takedown attempt.#T1# Ramos takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Klos connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Ramos! He's out on his feet! Klos rushes in and drops Ramos with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

#SUB# Ramos has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Savard defend it? Ramos steps over the head and cranks it - Savard is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Ramos!

#R1# Maloney tries to close the distance and clinch but Ramos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Maloney swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ramos counters with a body kick. Maloney tries to clinch but Ramos moves out of range. Ramos throws a fast counter high kick but Maloney manages to duck under it in time. Jordan Maloney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maloney tries to clinch up but Ramos circles away and keeps his distance. Maloney tries to clinch #TD2# and Ramos counters with a shoot takedown. Maloney fights it but they end up in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Maloney keeping full guard, as Ramos tries to pass. Ramos wants to control from the top but Maloney keeps moving. #SUB# Maloney has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ramos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ramos with a flurry of punches that miss. #SUB2# Ramos drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maloney manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ramos has Maloney in his guard.#REVR##SUB2# Ramos working for a triangle but Maloney defends it easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maloney accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SUB2# Ramos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Maloney gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB2# Ramos looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Maloney passes into side control.

Maloney is working Ramos over with some ground and pound from side control. Ramos is still in real trouble! Can Maloney finish him?#SUB# Maloney wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ramos, who protects the arm well. A big shot lands for Maloney! That's hurt Ramos! Will he recover? Maloney fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ramos tries for a takedown but Maloney manages to get underhooks.
#TD# Maloney has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ramos clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Maloney doesn't have the hooks in and Ramos manages to turn into his guard.
#SUB# Maloney is looking for a triangle but Ramos pushes his legs off easily.
#SUB# Maloney is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramos is aware though and is defending well. Maloney will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
#SUB2# Ramos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Maloney is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ramos, into his guard. #REVR# Maloney has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maloney is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. #SUB2# Ramos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Maloney doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ramos is tightening it up a little... Maloney has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Maloney reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Maloney taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ramos!
