We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hole looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Niputtaja showed some decent athleticism there. Adebisi scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Niputtaja manages to mount him!
Niputtaja content just to control the position here. Niputtaja seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Adebisi for as long as he can get away with.#SUB# Niputtaja moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Adebisi has worked his arm free - good work by Adebisi!

Niputtaja lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Niputtaja has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Adebisi's face.
#T3# Adebisi's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Niputtaja cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Niputtaja takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Adebisi is trying to escape the mount but Niputtaja keeps good control and instead manages to take Adebisi's back.
Niputtaja is riding his opponent, not letting Adebisi buck him off. Niputtaja has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Niputtaja.

Zulu works his way back into a safe position though. Zulu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Niputtaja. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nikke Niputtaja. That's going to take a lot out of him.
