#R1# Strummer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#CUT# It looks like Joe Strummer has been cut. Jako swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Strummer counters with a lovely shot to the body. Strummer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jako circles away quickly and effectively. Jako misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Strummer takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jako connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Strummer takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Strummer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jako closes the distance and lands a one-two. Strummer misses with a right hand and Jako connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Strummer moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Strummer throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A decent looking body kick lands there for Jako. Jako throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Strummer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jako throws a series of punches but Strummer moves out of range. Jako lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Strummer backs up against the ropes.

and Jako counters with a big head kick but Strummer shrugs it off. Joe Strummer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Strummer walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!

#R1# Strummer misses with a low kick. Strummer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Strummer misses with a double jab.
Shabani tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Strummer was well out of range. Poor timing from Shabani. Strummer throws a big counter combination but Shabani scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Strummer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Horrible takedown attempt by Shabani or perhaps it was just good defense by Strummer, which made it look bad. Shabani fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Strummer.
Strummer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shabani circles away quickly and effectively. Strummer slips under a jab. Shabani connects with a nice looking jab.
Strummer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shabani misses with a looping right. Shabani throws an overhand right that lands on Strummer's shoulder, as Strummer tries to avoid the shot. Strummer connects with the punch.#KD# Oooooh!!! Strummer has knocked Shabani down with a huge combo! Strummer steps away and waves a wobbly Shabani back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT# It looks like Hamdi Shabani has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Strummer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shabani circles away quickly and effectively. Hamdi Shabani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strummer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#T1# Strummer throws a right and a left that Shabani avoids nicely. Shabani throws a nice looking combination but Strummer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. As Shabani looks to move away, Strummer throws a big counter combo but Shabani just gets out of the way. Shabani is looking to clinch but Strummer is avoiding it.
Strummer tries to move into range but Shabani moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Strummer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Shabani is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Shabani misses with a hook. Strummer ducked under it nicely. Shabani tries to clinch there but Strummer circles away.

#R1# Strummer throws a leg kick that is checked#TD2# and Hasselhoff counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. #SUB2# Hasselhoff seems to be working for a kimura but Strummer defends the submission attempt.#SUB2# Hasselhoff is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Strummer sees it coming and defends easily. Strummer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #SUB2# Hasselhoff maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Strummer could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hasselhoff has cracked it and Strummer is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hasselhoff!

#R1# Mcpherson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. #CUT2# It looks like Kerry Mcpherson has been cut. Strummer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mcpherson counters with a one-two to the body. Strummer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Strummer misses the body punch and Mcpherson counters with a series of strikes. Strummer will be more careful next time no doubt. Strummer throws a combination. Mcpherson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.#TD2# Mcpherson gets caught napping as Strummer dives in and scores a takedown. Mcpherson manages to retain guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SUB# Mcpherson has his foot on Strummer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Strummer works his way back into a safe position though. Mcpherson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Mcpherson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mcpherson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mcpherson uses from the top position. Mcpherson is landing with some decent strikes but Strummer is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Mcpherson lands a big shot there that rocks Strummer but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mcpherson with a couple of short strikes. Mcpherson cracks Strummer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Mcpherson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
