#R1# Korf throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Korf swats him away and circles back towards the center. Korf throws a low kick but it's checked well by Parker. Korf throws a leg kick but Parker checks it. Parker unleashes a big counter combination but Korf bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Korf missing with a left hand there. Parker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Parker fails with a takedown attempt. Korf is looking to counter with a body kick. Parker tries for a takedown but Korf sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Korf stuffs the takedown attempt from Parker. Parker gets slowly back to his feet. Alexander Korf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Parker. Parker misses with a takedown and Korf cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters circling - Korf throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Parker shoots in but Korf avoids the takedown attempt easily. Parker with a lazy takedown attempt letting Korf counter with a right hand. Parker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Korf tries to avoid it but Parker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Korf to the ground. Korf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #T1# Parker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
#ROC# Parker is rocked! Korf lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Parker head around and knocks him out cold! Korf hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alexander Korf! A relieved looking Alexander Korf thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
