#R1# Snow throws a body kick, spinning off balance#TD# and Pending counters with a shoot takedown. Snow fights it but they end up in guard. Snow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pending. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB2# Snow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pending sitting in guard here, content to control. #SUB# Pending is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pending is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Snow looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pending is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Snow looking to control.
Pending controlling from the top position. #SUB# Pending is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #T1# Snow being controlled here, momentarily. #SUB2# Snow has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pending is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Snow. Snow tries to improve position but can't. #SUB# Pending has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Snow is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pending yanks on the arm and Snow is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pending.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Fyodor Pending!
