Reinold has control of Woodard's left arm, preventing Woodard from doing any damage. Reinold avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Woodard with a flurry of punches that miss. Woodard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #SUB# Woodard avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Woodard trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Woodard throwing strikes but missing. Woodard throwing strikes from guard but Reinold blocks nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Woodard lands a couple of elbows. Woodard content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #SUB# Reinold looking for a guillotine here but Woodard defends easily.

#R1##TD# Reinold closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into MP's guard. Reinold slips nicely into half guard. MP really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reinold. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Reinold in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. MP tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Reinold!
