#R1# Iron lands a nice hook to Lee's body. Lee takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Iron looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well. Lee shoots in for a double leg but Iron sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Iron sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. Junior Iron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Iron works the jab nicely.#CUT2# It looks like Andre Lee has been cut. Iron lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Lee can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Iron and Lee drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Iron.

Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Christian Baier (ranked 7926 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Lee (ranked 8433 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Christian Baier! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Andre Lee! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Lee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baier napping and manages to drive through into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Baier (0) vs (4) Lee Baier is looking for a sweep. Baier's coaches at The Garden have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Lee looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Baier is looking for a sweep. Lee is staying tight to Baier's torso, preventing him from escaping. Baier is trying to get back to half guard. Baier manages to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baier is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily. Lee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Baier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lee trying to control the pace. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Baier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lee is thwarting Baier's attempts to control the position. Lee is working for a kimura but Baier is defending it quite comfortably.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Baier is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lee's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Baier (4) vs (4) Lee Lee is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Lee trying to control the hands but Baier breaks the grip. Lee is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Baier off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Lee tries to escape the position.
Will Baier go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Baier has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Lee! Can he survive? No! He's out! Baier gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Lee closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage. Gracie wants a takedown.

Gracie remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lee will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Lee has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gracie has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Gracie is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lee gets his way!

Gracie is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Gracie wants to control his opponent's hands but Lee gets his hands free. Gracie is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Lee slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard. Score +3 for passing guard: Gracie (2) vs (14) Lee Lee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gracie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie can't do much from the bottom here.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Gracie trying to remain calm as Lee controls from the top position. Gracie is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Lee's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Lee! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Gracie has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Lee throws out a counter right but Takulai avoids it with no problem.#TD2# Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Takulai!#ES# Takulai throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! This has been an exciting period of action! Lee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Takulai sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Takulai tries to clinch but Lee moves out of range. A head kick misses from Takulai. Lee tries to counter with a clinch but Takulai shakes him off and moves away. Lee looking to land some kicks to the body here.
