Hama doesn't manage to clinch there - Gallagher circles away.
Hama fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gallagher lands the left hand.
Gallagher closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Hama! Gallagher dives in looking to finish! Hama is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Gallagher!

Punzo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sloppy strikes there by Punzo.
Punzo slows the pace down.
Hama manages to work his way to half guard, despite Punzo's best efforts.
Hama is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Punzo thows a huge punch but Hama dodges it nicely.
Hama avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Punzo.
Hama on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Punzo is nestled in close to Hama, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Still in half guard, Punzo seems content to control.

Punzo lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hama quite badly. Hama pulls Punzo in close trying to recover. Punzo postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hama on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hama doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
