Carsly looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dixon!
Carsly misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Carsly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Carsly looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dixon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carsly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Carsly unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dixon wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Carsly celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
