Carsly misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

This has been an exciting period of action! Dixon throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Both fighters are breathing heavily.#SUB2# Carsly has hold of Dixon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Dixon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carsly unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dixon wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Carsly celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
