Count Vacula has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Count Vacula uses his free foot to push down on Espinoza's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Espinoza. Espinoza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Count Vacula on the ground. Count Vacula breaks from Espinoza's wrist control and lands an elbow. Count Vacula looking to control and managing it successfully. Espinoza has given up his back. Will we see Count Vacula going for some submissions?

#R1##TD2# Talib feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Espinoza is striking but Talib is not phased and passes to half guard. Talib lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Talib looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Talib not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Talib trying to control from half guard but Espinoza is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Talib is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.#T1# Talib prevents Espinoza from improving his position. Talib wants to stand but his hand is trapped. And that's the end of the fight! Ahmad Talib comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Talib has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. A very excited looking God Kratus made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

#R1# Espinoza misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Winters unleashes a big counter combination but Espinoza bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. John Winters seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Winters looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Winters circles away from the clinch attempt#TD2# and Winters counters with a nice double leg into guard. Espinoza not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Espinoza is on top in guard.

Winters leaves Espinoza with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
