Tash was covering up waiting for the punch and Johnson finishes the takedown easily into guard. and Tash counters with a stiff right hand. Miyamoto tests Tash's chin there with a solid looking shot. Belter has Tash pressed against the cage, preventing Tash from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Belter fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Belter tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #TD2# Belter gets control of Tash's arms and successfully pulls guard. Belter will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Belter pulls Tash in close to prevent any damage. Tash has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Tash got a little sloppy there for a moment and Belter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tash has managed to get both his arms back between Belter's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
