Barre lands with a nice body punch.
Marcus stuffs the takedown.
Marcus on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Barre tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marcus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.#CL2#

Marcus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barre shoots in looking for a takedown but Marcus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barre's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
As Barre tries to get set, Marcus tries to push him back and clinch up but Barre manages to avoid the attempt.
Barre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Semmy Marcus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gold Barre.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barre.
Barre shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Barre gets control of Marcus's arms and successfully pulls guard. Barre will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Barre manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marcus manages to get himself to full guard.

Marcus has his foot on Barre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barre works his way back into a safe position though.
Marcus wants to hit a switch here but Barre passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Marcus there!

Barre is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Marcus has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Barre has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Marcus taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Barre doesn't care though - he's delighted!
