#R1# Thompson with a hook. Ando walks into a left hand. Thompson thows a leg kick but Ando checks it #TD# and Ando counters with a takedown into side control. Thompson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ando connects with a decent elbow. Ando grinds an elbow into Thompson's temple. Ando tries to score with some ground and pound. Thompson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Thompson is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ando asserts his dominance and retains side control. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Thompson is not in a great position here, taking some shots. This has been an exciting period of action! Ando sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Thompson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Stephen Ando will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# The fighters circle momentarily. Thompson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Ando walks into a stiff left hand from Thompson. Stephen Ando is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. and Thompson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ando! He's just covering up as Thompson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

#R1# Ando ducks under a wild hook from Penn. Ando is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Penn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Penn wants it to stay on the feet. Penn throws a big shot that misses. Ando tries to counter with a takedown but Penn is quick to defend against it.#CL# Ando gets in close and instigates a clinch. #TD# Ando pulls guard effortlessly. Penn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ando on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ando tries to get out of the position. Ando keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully. Penn has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Penn stays in close to Ando's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ando manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Penn manages to get himself to full guard.

Penn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ando postures up in Penn's guard and throws a big left but Penn blocks it. Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Penn has momentary wrist control but Ando slips an elbow through the middle.#SUB2# Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ando doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Penn is tightening it up a little... Ando has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ando reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ando taps out! Nice BJJ there by Penn!

A very excited looking John Penn made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. #R1# Ando gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Zappacosta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Ando. Zappacosta managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Ando.
Ando throws a strike aimed at the side of Zappacosta's head but Zappacosta avoids it well. Ando misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

#R1# Out scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Out moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Out lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ando circles away quickly and effectively. Ando is looking to counter the offense by Out and move into the clinch.#CL# Ando clinches up with Out and pushes him back against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Out's face as he tries to break the clinch. #TD# Ando gets control of Out's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ando will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Out must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Out is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. Ando on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ando tries to get out of the position. Out working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
