#R1# Chief stuffs the takedown. Vip changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chief tries to avoid it but Vip manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chief to the ground. Chief escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #TD2# Vip shoots in and bounces Chief off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.#SUB# Chief looking for a guillotine here but Vip defends easily.
Chief is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chief wants to sweep but no luck. Chief doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Chief is looking for a triangle but Vip pushes his legs off easily.
Chief lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR##SUB2# Vip has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chief should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Vip has tightened it up now! Chief should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Mr Vip! A less than humble Mr Vip misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

#R1##TD2# Vip drives through with a takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Vip thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hadley trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Vip should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Vip landing with the ground and pound. #CUT2# It looks like Ryan Hadley has been cut. Vip with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Vip's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hadley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Hadley is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Vip frees his head nicely. Oh but Hadley has switched to an armbar! Vip is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Ryan Hadley!
