#R1# Mccoy throws a body shot but no joy. Mccoy throws a head kick that misses. Sokoudju changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mccoy tries to avoid it but Sokoudju manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mccoy to the ground. Mccoy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mccoy was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Sokoudju scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Mccoy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sokoudju sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mccoy somewhat. Sokoudju shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mccoy but Mccoy pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mccoy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sokoudju has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Mccoy scores with a shot to the body.

Mccoy is fighting to break Sokoudju's control of his arms but Sokoudju is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sokoudju is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# The fighters are battling for position here. Mccoy manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sokoudju tries to free his leg and advance position but Mccoy is retaining full guard. Sokoudju with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sokoudju controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Mccoy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sokoudju postures up in Mccoy's guard and throws a big left but Mccoy blocks it. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mccoy misses with a head kick.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sokoudju with the counter takedown but Mccoy avoids it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sokoudju is defended easily by Mccoy.#T2# Sloppy strikes from Sokoudju. Those never looked like landing. Sokoudju uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mccoy. Mccoy is trying to drag Sokoudju to the mat but Sokoudju just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.#TD# Mccoy gets control of Sokoudju's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mccoy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mccoy is trying to control the position but Sokoudju postures up. Sokoudju wants to pass the guard but Mccoy is keeping the position.#T3# Mccoy wants to get back to his feet but Sokoudju is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Sokoudju stopping the sweep attempt from Mccoy. Mccoy wants to stand up but Sokoudju is controlling him. Mccoy trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Sokoudju sitting in guard, not really doing much. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sokoudju looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mccoy is fending him off so far but Sokoudju persists. He'll look to pass Mccoy's guard now, I'm sure. Sokoudju with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sokoudju would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sokoudju stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mccoy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mccoy has a closed guard, preventing Sokoudju from standing up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sokoudju engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Chen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mccoy stuffs the takedown. Mccoy doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chen counters with a thumping low kick. Mccoy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Chen. Stanford Mccoy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wuang Liu Chen. Mccoy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chen tries to clinch there but Mccoy circles away.

That's going to take a lot out of Randy Kelly. Mccoy throws a head kick that misses. Kelly tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mccoy sees that one coming and sprawls well. Higa tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mccoy is in Higa's guard.#SUB2# Higa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mccoy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Higa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SU# Higa is working an open guard so Mccoy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

#R1# Delta throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mccoy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mccoy throws a counter high kick but Delta was just alert enough to avoid it.#TD# Mccoy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Delta on his heels. He'll look to pass Delta's guard now, I'm sure. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Delta seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #SUB2# Delta is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mccoy has his hands clasped together but Delta extends and breaks Mccoy's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar!
