#R1##TD# Green bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.#ES2# Hoolahan sneaks out the side door and pushes Green away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Hoolahan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Green circles away.#TD# Green manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hoolahan on his heels. He'll look to pass Hoolahan's guard now, I'm sure. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Green controlling from the top position. Green trying to control the position from guard on top but Hoolahan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Green works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hoolahan is trying to get back to full guard.#T1##SUB# Green seems to be working for a kimura but Hoolahan defends the submission attempt.#SU# Green stands up from half guard. #TD# Green decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hoolahan wants to get back to full guard.#T2# Green wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hoolahan keeps working. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoolahan wants to get back to his feet. Green seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Hoolahan is trying to stand up here but Green is controlling him well. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Green trying to control the pace. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hoolahan is defended easily by Green.#T3##TD# Hoolahan gets caught flat footed, as Green shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Green is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Green scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hoolahan working a defensive guard here.
#SU# Green stands and steps away. Hoolahan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Green keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Brandon Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hoolahan. Hoolahan is looking to clinch but Green is avoiding it.
#T4# Hoolahan dives in for a single leg takedown but Green sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Hoolahan looks winded!#TD# Green throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hoolahan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Green is in Hoolahan's guard. Green lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Hoolahan is working an open guard so Green takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.#TD# Green is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Hoolahan is in big trouble! Green is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Hoolahan. Poor guy.
