#R1# Duffy takes one on the button. Adrian Edgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duffy defending well as Edgar loads up on a big left hand. Duffy attempts a counter takedown but Edgar avoids it well and moves away. Duffy slips a jab from Edgar. Duffy tries to counter with a takedown but Edgar is quick to defend against it. Duffy dodges the punch combination from Edgar.
Edgar lands with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Edgar works over Duffy's head and body with a nice combination. Edgar shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Duffy eats them both and turns towards Edgar to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#T1# Edgar lands a hook that stumbles Duffy back into the cage. Edgar follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Duffy to the canvas! Edgar pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Duffy has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

#R1# Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.#TD# Duffy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Duffy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Duffy trying to control the position but Hayes is working away. Duffy in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Duffy in side control lands a decent elbow. Duffy looks up at the clock and then as Hayes takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Duffy smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
#SUB# Duffy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. #SUB# Duffy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hayes knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Duffy cracks Hayes with a big right hand but Hayes just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hayes defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Duffy can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hayes is looking to escape. Duffy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Duffy unloading with bombs! Duffy landing shots from mount. #T2# Duffy looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The referee warns Hayes that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Duffy working Hayes over with strikes here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duffy lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hayes hang on? Duffy lands a big elbow. Duffy with shots to the head and body - Hayes looks very uncomfortable down there. Duffy breaks from Hayes's wrist control and lands an elbow. Duffy looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
