#R1##TD2# Chong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Chong lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. #SU2# Chong stands up and beckons Hoskins to his feet. A big left from Hoskins misses. Chong misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chong takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Chong throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoskins's waist but Hoskins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chong off to one side. Chong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hoskins connects with a body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chong misses with a takedown attempt and Hoskins counters with a left to the body. Chong takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hoskins lands an overhand right. Chong has his takedown stuffed and Hoskins counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Alex Hoskins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hakan Chong.#T1# Hoskins scores with the left hand. Chong knows he should have avoided that one. Chong fails with the takedown and Hoskins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chong looks winded!#TD2# Chong dives in and scores a takedown into Hoskins's guard. Chong has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Chong working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Chong not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #T2# Hoskins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Chong throwing strikes from guard but Hoskins blocks nicely. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Chong sitting in guard here, content to control. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Chong ducks under a wild hook from Hoskins. A left lands for Hoskins.#CUT# It looks like Hakan Chong has been cut. Alex Hoskins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoskins cracks Chong with a good jab.#ROC# Chong is rocked!#T3# Chong tries to get into range but Hoskins steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Chong! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Hoskins scores the big KO victory!

#R1##CL2# Chong instigates a clinch. #BC2# Chong breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Strickland connects with a good right hand that stumbles Chong. Chong circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Chong misses the shot to the body. Strickland throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chong's waist but Chong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strickland off to one side. A chopping leg kick lands by Strickland. Donk. Strickland catches Chong right on the button with a cross. Chong tries to clinch up.#TD2# Chong closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chong lands in his opponent's guard. Strickland is looking to stand back up but Chong counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Strickland. #REVR# This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chong keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#T1# Chong is looking to advance position but Strickland won't allow it. Chong looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. #SUB2# Chong is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Strickland sees it coming and defends easily. Chong working over Strickland with some ground and pound. Strickland looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Chong is looking to advance position but Strickland won't allow it. Chong wants to get back to his feet.
#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Chong keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Strickland knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chong on the ground. Chong seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chong is thwarting Strickland's attempts to control the position. Chong tries to stand but can't do so whilst Strickland controls his leg. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chong connects with a nice short shot to Strickland's temple. #T3# Chong trying to control the pace. Strickland is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chong controlling the action here. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Strickland shoots in for a takedown but Chong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#CL2# Chong instigates a clinch. Strickland drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chong gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leandro Strickland. That's going to take a lot out of him. Strickland goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chong prevents it.

#TD2# Chong shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chong is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Strickland drops down looking for a counter takedown but Chong sprawls and moves away. Jab, jab by Chong - just one landing. Strickland circles away from the clinch attempt#TD# and Strickland counters with a shoot takedown. Chong fights it but they end up in guard. Chong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chong can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Strickland controls the pace. Strickland trying to control the position from guard on top but Chong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chong has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Strickland sitting in guard, not really doing much. #T1# Strickland trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chong's guard. Hakan Chong has got the better of the ground game so far. Strickland slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SUB2# Chong looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Chong stuffs the takedown attempt from Strickland. Strickland gets slowly back to his feet. Chong drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Strickland defends it well.#T2# Chong looks to land a right hand but Strickland moved out of range. Chong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Strickland paws at him with a jab and circles away.#TD2# Chong closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Strickland to the mat! Strickland manages to get full guard. Strickland is looking to stand back up but Chong counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Strickland. #REVR##SUB# Strickland is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chong pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chong slows the pace down in half guard. #ES# Strickland pushes Chong off and gets back to his feet.#T3# Chong misses with a wild combination.

Chong controls from within his opponent's guard. Strickland has a closed guard, preventing Chong from standing up. #T4# Chong trying to control but Strickland is working from the bottom. Chong throwing strikes from guard but Strickland blocks nicely. Chong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Hakan Chong will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! #R3##CL2# Chong closes the distance and clinches. Chong wants a takedown.

Strickland looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chong is fending him off so far but Strickland persists. Nope, Chong circles away and we're back to standing. Chong tries to counter by closing the distance. Strickland dives in for a single leg takedown but Chong sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Strickland tries to clinch up. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Strickland screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
