Shorton working some nice short punches in the clinch. Shorton lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Richardson backwards. Shorton scores with a shoulder strike. Shorton softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.#ROC# Richardson is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shorton creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Richardson with a big uppercut! Richardson tries to clinch up but Shorton pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Richardson to the mat! Richardson covers up and Shorton unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1##TD2# Richardson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Richardson trying to pass the guard but England defending well. England wants to improve his position but Richardson is controlling well.
England misses with some strikes from the bottom.
England could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Richardson is taking a breather. England says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Richardson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richardson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. England misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Richardson is looking to regain half guard here but Charles keeps moving and retains side control. You can see the frustration on Richardson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Richardson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Charles wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richardson is trying to control Charles's posture but Charles avoids it. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. #R3# Charles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. It looked like Charles was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.#TD# Charles gets the takedown into side control. #ES2# Richardson sneaks out the side door and pushes Charles away - he's back to his feet. In favor of your winner, by majority decision... Buck Richardson! A very excited looking Buck Richardson rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
