Kristus moves out of range as Fight Ii strikes. Kristus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fight Ii looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fight Ii has been working on his boxing with his coaches at WildBoar's Pig Pen (Strength and Conditioning) $40 in the buildup to the fight. Kristus misses with an uppercut. Fight Ii throws an overhand right that lands on Kristus's shoulder, as Kristus tries to avoid the shot. Kristus dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kristus ducks right into an uppercut from Fight Ii. Fight Ii misses with an uppercut. Kristus misses with a jab, cross combination.
Fight Ii doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Kristus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fight Ii sees it coming and avoids it easily. A quick step to the side and Spezziale tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Nice uppercut there from Fight Ii. Fight Ii takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fight Ii takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Fight Ii's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Spezziale connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Fight Ii scrambles back to his feet. Fight Ii takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Spezziale staying out of range there. Nice jab there from Fight Ii. Spezziale keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Spezziale connects with a good right hand that stumbles Fight Ii. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Fight Ii looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brophy takes a swing at Fight Ii's ribcage but misses. I was talking to Phoenix's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. #R1# Mark getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Fight Ii loads up on a big right hand but Mark slips the punch. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Mark defending well as Fight Ii loads up on a big left hand. Mark looks to land a right hand but Fight Ii moved out of range. Mark thuds a left hand into Fight Ii's body. Good standup being displayed there by Mark as he connects with a hook. Fight Ii misses with a hook. Fight Ii fails to land with a series of punches.
Mark throws a right hand that Fight Ii ducks under and follows up with a left that Fight Ii also avoids with ease. We've been told by Mark's head coaches at Gangsterdamage that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fight Ii rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Fight Ii ducks under a wild hook from Mark. Fight Ii takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fight Ii sees it coming and avoids it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fight Ii lands a glancing blow to the side of Mark's head. Fight Ii misses with a straight right. Fight Ii is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mark. Mark throws a jab when Fight Ii was well out of range. Mark lands a glancing blow to the side of Fight Ii's head. Fight Ii has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fight Ii moves out of range as Mark strikes. Mark dips to his left and cracks Fight Ii with an uppercut! Fight Ii throws a shot from downtown. Mark moves away and avoids it. It looked like Mark was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Fight Ii. Fight Ii pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mark smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.#T1# Mark throws a hook to the side of Fight Ii's head but Fight Ii sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mark is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Fight Ii swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Mark throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Fight Ii staying out of range there. Mark scores with a decent looking hook. Mark slips a straight right by Fight Ii. Mark scores with a decent looking hook.#ROC# Fight Ii is rocked! Fight Ii looks to throw the jab but Mark is out of range. Fight Ii moves out of range of the strikes. Fight Ii throws a nice looking combination but Mark bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Fight Ii slips a straight right by Mark. Mark changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Mark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fight Ii takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fight Ii is still on wobbly legs! Can Mark finish him? Fight Ii misses with a right hand and Mark rattles Fight Ii with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Fight Ii tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Mark dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Fight Ii stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Marky Mark! In his post fight interview, Marky Mark started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Fight Ii bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Duphus misses with a wild body shot. Fight Ii keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Duphus. Fight Ii scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Duphus misses with a body kick. Duphus showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fight Ii.

Dana Fight Ii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fight Ii lands a glancing blow to the side of Duphus's head. Fight Ii connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fight Ii lands a really nice looking cross but Duphus seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fight Ii lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Duphus throws a chopping leg kick but Fight Ii manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Fight Ii bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Duphus's head. Duphus shoots in and drives through. Fight Ii sprawls well.#CL2# Duphus gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fight Ii has a couple of punches blocked by Duphus.

#SUB2# Duphus is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fight Ii defends well.#SU# Duphus is working an open guard so Fight Ii takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Duphus throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
