Brandau misses with a takedown and Clark counters with a stiff right hand. Brandau tries for a takedown but Clark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Brandau fails with the takedown and Clark counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Corey Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Brandau. Clark listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Clark slips a jab and a cross from Brandau.

Brandau shoots in looking for a takedown but Mafaking manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Brandau's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Brandau pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. It looked like Mafaking wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Royce Brandau seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandau misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A little feinted left hand from Mafaking on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bruce Mafaking has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Brandau. Mafaking ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Brandau looks for a takedown but Mafaking sprawls well. It looked like Mafaking was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Brandau. We've been hearing reports that Mafaking has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Zhan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Zhan tests Brandau's chin there with a solid looking shot. Zhan lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Zhan throws a jab when Brandau was well out of range. Kondo Zhan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zhan punishes Brandau's body with a nice straight punch. Zhan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brandau at a distance.
