Conner wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Conner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Conner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Conner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Matisson controls the pace.
Conner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

That was a close round but I would say that Adan Conner will probably get the nod.

The fighters circle momentarily. Matisson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
BOOM! Matisson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Conner. Conner tries to recover but Matisson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Conner lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Matisson, as that shot connected.

It looks like Garth Brennan has been cut.
Matisson misses with a wild body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brennan is defended easily by Matisson.
Matisson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brennan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matisson's waist but Matisson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brennan off to one side.
Matisson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brennan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.#CL#

Matisson has Brennan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brennan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Brennan avoids a wild elbow strike from Matisson.
Matisson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brennan walks away with a smile on his face. Matisson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #T1##KD2#
Matisson drops Brennan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brennan looks back up at him and smiles so Matisson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Matisson lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Brennan out cold! Brennan is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
