He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carey's half guard.#SUB2# Moore is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Carey is just riding it out for now. Moore eventually gives up the hold. Moore trying to mount his opponent but Carey defends it. #SUB# Carey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Moore pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Carey uses the opportunity to regain full guard. #T1# Moore showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Moore working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. #CUT2# It looks like Van Carey has been cut. Moore trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Moore controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Moore is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. #CUT2# Van Carey's cut is getting worse. Moore forces his way into half guard. Well, if Moore is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
#T2# Moore is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Moore controlling the action here. Moore winds up and cracks Carey with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #CUT2# Jeez, Van Carey's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Van Carey's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
