Tyson Jr pushes Malenko up against the ropes in a clinch.
Malenko is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tyson Jr is keeping busy.

Malenko is trying to pull guard but Tyson Jr turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.
Tyson Jr lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Malenko is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Tyson Jr is defending well for now.
Malenko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tyson Jr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Tyson Jr throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Malenko tries to score a body lock takedown but Tyson Jr shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dean Malenko. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Malenko has been working on his balance at , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Tyson Jr.

Tyson Jr is pressed up against the ropes. Malenko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tyson Jr down to the mat. Tyson Jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tyson Jr moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#T2#
Malenko seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Tyson Jr shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Malenko is backing up but Tyson Jr catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Malenko covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Tyson Jr Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikey Tyson Jr!

Malenko tries to clinch there but Dickerson circles away.

Dickerson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dickerson being controlled here, momentarily.
Malenko is pushing down on Dickerson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dickerson is fighting to maintain full guard but Malenko has managed to sneak the leg through.#SUB2#
Malenko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dickerson sees it coming and defends easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2#
Malenko maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Dickerson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Malenko has cracked it and Dickerson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Malenko!

Dean Malenko opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
