We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Demaestri has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.#TD2#

Rene Schweidler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Eduardo Demaestri.

Schweidler lands a big head kick that sends Demaestri tumbling to the mat! Schweidler takes a step backwards and waves Demaestri back to his feet - he wants the finish!
We've been told by Schweidler's head coaches at Fight Hard that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Demaestri gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Schweidler points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Demaestri wakes up just in time to hear Schweidler thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Demaestri shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Demaestri was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Aleksander knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Demaestri on the ground.
