#R1# Sanford misses with a low kick.
Sanford doesn't manage to clinch there - Lo circles away.
Lo throws out a loose jab but Sanford uses good head movement to avoid it. A nice side step and Sanford releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Lo throws a hook to the side of Sanford's head but Sanford sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lo looks to land a left hand but Sanford moved out of range nicely. Sanford tries to clinch but Lo moves out of range. #TD# Lo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sanford is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lo stalling away here and it's allowed Sanford to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Sanford is trying to keep Lo in close.

Sanford is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. #R1# Garcia ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.#TD2# Lo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Garcia wants to get back to his feet. Lo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Garcia's legs. Lo tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Lo working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Lo has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Garcia! Poor strikes thrown by Lo there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Lo unloads with some shots from mount but Garcia bucks and avoids them well.

#R1# The fighters circling - Lo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lo misses with a straight left. Wallace fails to land the takedown. Lo misses with a straight right. A quick step to the side and Wallace tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Wallace looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lo is fending him off so far but Wallace persists. Nope, Lo circles away and we're back to standing. Wallace misses with a takedown attempt - Lo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Patrick Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wallace. Lo goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Lo misses with a looping left. Wallace wants to clinch up but Lo keeps it at a distance. Lo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Rick Lo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Lo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. Lo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Lo wants to free his trapped foot but Wallace is holding on for dear life with his legs. Lo controlling the action here.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wallace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lo has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Wallace is working to get back to half guard.

#R1# Lo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gun sees it coming and avoids it easily. Tommy Gun seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice combination there by Gun.
Lo throws a hook but Gun avoids it easily. A combination from Gun does no damage. A punch combination from Gun misses. #TD# Gun tries to sprawl but Lo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Gun is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB# Lo seems to be working for a kimura but Gun defends the submission attempt. Lo passes to full mount! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gun holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Lo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lo stalling. Lo keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Lo misses with a hook to the ribs.

Gun really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. #T4# Lo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gun for as long as he can get away with.#SUB# Lo is looking for a kimura here.
