Cruz Jr scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
#CUT2# It looks like Jason Card has been cut. Card tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cruz Jr lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Cruz Jr scores with a nice head shot. Card tries to clinch up but Cruz Jr circles away and keeps his distance. Cruz Jr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Frost looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Card doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Card tries to clinch but Frost moves out of range. Frost cracks the inside of Card's front leg. #CL2# Card closes the distance and clinches. Frost blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#BC# Frost pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Frost paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. The crowd cheers as Frost lands an impressive looking overhand right. Card doesn't seem phased though. Card tries to close the distance and clinch up but Frost swats him away and circles back towards the center. Card gets cracked there but stands up to it.
