Wood has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The PIT Hawaiian Kempo in the buildup to the fight. Murhaa scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.#CUT2# It looks like Marcus Wood has been cut. Murhaa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wood moves away. Murhaa digs a good body shot into Wood's ribs.#TD2# Murhaa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.#SUB# Murhaa moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Wood. Wood is trying to escape the position but Murhaa is controlling the position. It looks like Murhaa might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Murhaa tries to advance to mount but Wood denies him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wood lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jacobi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. That was a close second round but I would say that Ahhhh Ahhhh will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning.
