Nielson is working Cruz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. #SUB# Cruz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Nielson defends well. Nielson sitting in guard, not really doing much. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cruz wants to get back to his feet but Nielson passes into half guard.

Cruz tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kirov just stands there and leans against the cage. Kirov wants to take the fight to the mat but Cruz manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kirov wants a takedown.
