Chin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Furkinson's half guard.
Furkinson trying to control from the bottom.
Chin with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Furkinson wants to sweep but Chin has passed to side control!
Chin remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.

Chin dives in and grabs Card's left leg, looking for a takedown. Card pushes down on Chin's head and hops out.#CL2#
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Chin tries for a takedown but Card manages to get underhooks.
Card tries a knee to the head but Chin blocks it.
Chin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Card gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hong Chin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Card with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Chin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Chin jumps guard but Card turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Chin tries to pull guard but Card won't allow it.
