Rivers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Strange's head. Strange really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rivers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Strange trying to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Strange has momentary wrist control but Rivers slips an elbow through the middle. Rivers postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rivers looking to pass the guard. Rivers really is a fat lump.#ES2# Strange has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Strange is defended easily by Rivers. Rocco Rivers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trouble Strange. Strange throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As Strange backs away, Rivers returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.#T2# Rivers tries to clinch up. Strange throws a counter combo.#TD2# Strange scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. #ES# Rivers manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Strange keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. #TD# Rivers is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Strange can't fight it off and eventually Rivers manages to take the fight to the floor. Strange looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rivers postures up.

Rivers has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rivers manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Strange manages to get himself to full guard.

Stokes dives into mount looking to finish!#CUT2# It looks like Rocco Rivers has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivers wants to control but Stokes is having none of it. Stokes throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Mitchell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rivers stuffs the takedown attempt from Mitchell. Mitchell gets slowly back to his feet. Rivers shoots and misses and Hard scores with a counter punch that sends Rivers to the canvas! Hard smells blood - he's punishing Rivers with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rivers has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
