It will also be interesting to see what tactics Upadhyaya uses from the top position. Upadhyaya trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fliegknecht is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Upadhyaya throwing strikes but missing. Upadhyaya wants to pass the guard but Fliegknecht is keeping the position. Fliegknecht manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Upadhyaya manages to get himself to full guard.

Fliegknecht has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.#T1# Fliegknecht's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jimenez tries to get out of the position. Upadhyaya looking to pass the guard. Upadhyaya loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Upadhyaya not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Upadhyaya wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jimenez keeps working. #T3# Upadhyaya might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jimenez haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jimenez is trying to stand up here but Upadhyaya is controlling him well. Upadhyaya takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#SUB2# Upadhyaya is working for a kimura but Jimenez is defending it quite comfortably.

Jimenez uses the momentum to regain guard. Upadhyaya throws a big right hand that misses. #T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jimenez trying to control the position.
Jimenez looking to hit a scissor sweep but Upadhyaya is one step ahead there. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Upadhyaya fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Upadhyaya lands a two punch combo.
Carlos Jimenez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Horrible takedown attempt by Jimenez or perhaps it was just good defense by Upadhyaya, which made it look bad. Jimenez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Upadhyaya. Raghave Upadhyaya is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Jimenez takes one to the chin there.
And that's the end of the fight! Raghave Upadhyaya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Upadhyaya winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Orndorf throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Upadhyaya closes the distance and lands a one-two.#CUT2# It looks like Daniel Orndorf has been cut. Upadhyaya takes one to the chin there.#CUT# It looks like Raghave Upadhyaya has been cut. Upadhyaya dives in and grabs Orndorf's left leg, looking for a takedown. Orndorf pushes down on Upadhyaya's head and hops out. Raghave Upadhyaya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Upadhyaya throws a nice looking combination but Orndorf bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Upadhyaya throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Orndorf showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Upadhyaya.
Upadhyaya looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Orndorf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Upadhyaya is looking for the big counter here. BOOM! Orndorf lands a beautiful left hook that drops Upadhyaya. Upadhyaya tries to recover but Orndorf is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Upadhyaya lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Orndorf! A very excited looking Daniel Orndorf rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed. The defeated Raghave Upadhyaya had this to say: 'FUCK'.

Upadhyaya lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
