The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Khabibov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sitsongrit manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Sitsongrit (0) vs (2) Khabibov Sitsongrit keeping moving, preventing Khabibov from controlling successfully. Khabibov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Khabibov tries to free his leg and advance position but Sitsongrit is retaining full guard. Sitsongrit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Khabibov defends well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khabibov looking to pass the guard. Sitsongrit working for a triangle but Khabibov defends it easily.

Khabibov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sitsongrit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Khabibov has managed to get both his arms back between Sitsongrit's legs - danger averted.

Khabibov controls from within his opponent's guard. Sitsongrit lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Khabibov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sitsongrit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Khabibov keeping moving, preventing Sitsongrit from controlling successfully. Sitsongrit forces his way into half guard. Sitsongrit frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Sitsongrit (5) vs (2) Khabibov Sitsongrit jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Khabibov is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Khabibov and Sitsongrit has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Khabibov is trying to control Sitsongrit's posture but Sitsongrit avoids it. Khabibov looks to move to half guard but instead Sitsongrit has passed into mount! Damn! Score +2 for reaching mount: Sitsongrit (7) vs (2) Khabibov Sitsongrit takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.

Khabibov tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Sitsongrit has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Khabibov is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
