Gerkly jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Gerkly swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Furgason ducks under a wild hook from Gerkly.

Gerkly lands a big uppercut and Furgason crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Furgason looks OK. Gerkly waves Furgason back to his feet!#ROC#

Gerkly throws an uppercut from hell that sends Furgason clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gerkly stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Bunse shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bunse throws a leg kick
and Bunse takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gerkly lands with a cross.
Bunse takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bunse misses with a low kick as Gerkly jumps back.
Bunse misses with a leg kick
letting Gerkly counter with a right hand.
Gerkly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bunse throws a leg kick that is checked
and Bunse takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Gerkly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Gerkly feints a jab promting Bunse to slip. Gerkly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bunse slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A jab lands there for Gerkly.
A low kick from Canine misses
and Gerkly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Canine throws a leg kick that is checked
and Gerkly counters with a big right hand! Oh Canine is in trouble here! Gerkly follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After the fight, Frank Gerkly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
