#R1# Kaufman defending well as Dirk loads up on a big left hand. Kaufman lands with a cross. Tom Dirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kaufman motions for Dirk to come forward. Kaufman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kaufman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dirk tries a quick counter leg kick but Kaufman is wise to it. Kaufman slips under a jab. Dirk moves out of range of the strikes. Kaufman ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kaufman blocks a head kick by Dirk.
#TD2# Dirk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Dirk controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Dirk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaufman swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dirk sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kaufman's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dirk is pressing down on Kaufman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kaufman is holding on for now. Dirk prevents Kaufman from standing back up.
Dirk controlling the action here. Kaufman is breathing heavily. It looks like Dirk might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Dirk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kaufman won't allow Dirk to pass to mount. Dirk is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kaufman! Dirk raining down shots from the mount! Dirk postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kaufman looks a forlorn figure.
Dirk landing strikes from the mount and Kaufman is in trouble! Dirk tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dirk connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
#T3# Dirk lands a big elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dirk cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
#ROC2# Kaufman is rocked! Dirk working Kaufman over with strikes here. Oh Kaufman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A big strike lands for Dirk! That's really hurt Kaufman and he's turned his back - Dirk keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Dirk jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

#R1# Kaufman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Road as he avoids it easily. Road jabs Kaufman to the body, keeping him at a distance. Road lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kaufman fails with a takedown attempt. Road with a body punch. A glancing blow. Road definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kaufman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nick Road has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Kaufman. Kaufman shoots in and drives through. Road sprawls well. Nick Road seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Road throws a shot to the body.
#KD# Oooh a lovely combination from Road sends Kaufman down but not out. Road dives into side control looking to finish. #ROC# Kaufman is rocked! Kaufman looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Kaufman wants to control but Road postures up. Kaufman is still in real trouble! Can Road finish him? Road scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kaufman is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Road can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Melvin Tucker (ranked 7088 p4p, 298 weight class) and Ray Kaufman (ranked 6812 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Melvin Tucker! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ray Kaufman! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kaufman tries to clinch there but Tucker circles away.
Kaufman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tucker swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kaufman moves into the clinch successfully.
Tucker drags the fight down to the ground.
Kaufman pushes down on Tucker's leg and manages to get into half guard. Kaufman prevents Tucker from improving his position. Kaufman wants to work for an arm triangle but Tucker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kaufman looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tucker has hold of Kaufman's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kaufman manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Tucker is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kaufman is defending well though. Tucker let's go of the attempt for now. Tucker doesn't have the hooks in and Kaufman manages to turn into his guard.
