#R1# Canine throws a leg kick and Canine takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Canine shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Canine takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A jab lands there for Gerkly. A low kick from Canine misses and Gerkly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Canine throws a leg kick that is checked and Gerkly counters with a big right hand! Oh Canine is in trouble here! Gerkly follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Gerkly! After the fight, Frank Gerkly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Gerkly connects with a right hand. Canine shakes it off. A low kick from Canine misses and Gerkly counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A low kick from Canine misses and Gerkly counters with a lovely shot to the body. Gerkly lands with an uppercut that bounces Canine off the cage and back into range.#KD2# Gerkly cracks Canine with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Canine looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gerkly finish him?
#ROC2# Canine is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Gerkly steps in with a hook that catches Canine right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Gerkly follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Canine looks absolutely devastated.
