Canine shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Canine takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A jab lands there for Gerkly.
A low kick from Canine misses
and Gerkly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Canine throws a leg kick that is checked
and Gerkly counters with a big right hand! Oh Canine is in trouble here! Gerkly follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

After the fight, Frank Gerkly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
