#R1# Rudroff throws a body kick that misses #TD# and Castaneda counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rudroff won't be happy with that. Rudroff tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. I really don't envy Rudroff right now.
#SUB# Rudroff defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Castaneda's arms. #SUB# Castaneda is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Rudroff knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Rudroff for a finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Castaneda avoiding Rudroff 's attempts to control his hands. #SUB# Castaneda patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Rudroff trying to control the action but Castaneda just sinks the hooks in. #T1# Rudroff tries to escape but Castaneda has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Good control from Castaneda. Rudroff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Castaneda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rudroff tries to break free.

Castaneda wants to stand but Rudroff is controlling his posture from full guard. #T2# Castaneda is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. #T3# Rudroff utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rudroff looking to sweep here. No luck so far. #SUB2# Rudroff is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Castaneda defends well. Castaneda wants to control from the top but Rudroff keeps moving. Foster Castaneda dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Rudroff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castaneda as he jumps to the side. Castaneda takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.#CUT2# It looks like Foster Castaneda has been cut. Rudroff throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Castaneda. #TD# Castaneda throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rudroff was covering up waiting for the punch and Castaneda finishes the takedown easily into guard. Castaneda controlling from the top position. Castaneda will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Castaneda postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rudroff is in big trouble! Castaneda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Castaneda manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rudroff being controlled here, momentarily. Castaneda scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Castaneda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Foster Castaneda dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Foster Castaneda's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! #R3# Rudroff changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castaneda tries to avoid it but Rudroff manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castaneda to the ground. Castaneda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rudroff fails with the takedown. Castaneda appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Rudroff shoots in but doesn't get the takedown #TD# and Castaneda counters with a takedown into side control. Foster Castaneda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Rudroff.#SUB# Castaneda is working to tighten his grip on Rudroff's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rudroff has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Castaneda is really squeezing tight and eventually Rudroff passes out! Castaneda breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
